In June 2020, Alshawamikh embarked on an ambitious internal change and transfromation initiative.  The aim of this intiative under the banner Journey of Excellence is to significantly improve in 11 core elements which has been identified as critical focus area withing the company.  One of the main elements is embedding QHSE culture within the organisation.  Its aim is to empower and enable all echelons within the organisation to drive sustainable change and rethink old ways of doing things to be more effective and efficient in order to ensure we meet the challenges of the industry.
